Easy ascent to the Gerlitzen summit
Starting at Annenheim valley station, you can reach Gerlitzen peak (1.911 m above sea level) with a cable car and a chairlift within 30 minutes. On top of the mountain, you can enjoy a breathtaking 360° panorama overlooking Carinthia’s beautiful mountain and lake scenery. This is the ideal place to escape from hectic everyday life – just leave all stress and worries behind.
Mountain cuisine
At least as important as the hike itself is taking a lunch break. On the Gerlitzen Alpe you will find a variety of gourmet huts with delicious cuisine and homemade delicacies. Bike trails for the young and old
The new lake.bike Kids Bike Park offers varied bike sports for children and young people from 3 years of age. The approximately 1 kilometer long Bino Trails are specially designed for the demands of children and young people and guarantee a safe cycling pleasure. The PROlitzen Trail awaits experienced mountain bikers, which runs from the Kanzelhöhe down to the valley station of the Kanzelbahn.
Paragliding with a lake panorama
Due to the special thermals, the Gerlitzen Alpe is a paradise for aviation. With relatively stable weather at any time of the year, you can get to know Lake Ossiacher See from a completely new perspective while paragliding. With several starting options at different altitudes, the mountain offers the perfect flight conditions for both beginners and advanced paragliders. And all those who don't fly themselves can marvel at the impressive take-off maneuvers at the Gerlitzen summit.
