With our excellent slopes, the Gerlitzen Alpe is considered the top family ski area for beginners, those returning to skiing and families with children. We are the only ski area in Carinthia to have the “Certified for Beginners and Those Returning to Skiing” seal of approval and therefore offer the best conditions for learning to ski. The Kanzelhöhe practice area is located right next to the middle station of the Kanzelbahn. Here you will find two conveyor belts and a platter lift. Once you have mastered these practice runs, you can continue uphill with the Moserbahn and Pöllingerbahn. From there you can take the easy Alpenrose slope for the descent. As an ideal ticket product for families with beginners in the Kanzelhöhe practice center, we recommend our 3-hour family trial ticket. This also allows you to use the Kanzelbahn, with a descent without a time limit.
