With our excellent slopes, Gerlitzen Alpe is considered the top family ski resort for beginners, re-starters and families with children. As the only ski resort in Carinthia, we hold the quality seal "Certified for Beginners and those returning to the sport," offering the best conditions for learning to ski. The largest practice area is located right at the base of the 6.3 km long valley run in Klösterle. You can access it both from Arriach and from the Feldkirchen side. Here, you will find two conveyor belts, a drag lift with handles and a button lift. If you have already mastered these practice runs, you continue uphill with the Klösterlebahn I to the middle Station. From there, you can choose either the easy route on our ski paths or the main slope for your descent. As the ideal ticket for families with beginner skiers in the Klösterle practice center, we recommend our 3-hour Family Trial Card. With this pass, you can use not only the practice arena at the base but also the lift to the Klösterle middle station. For children and parents who only want to use the children's lifts in the children's area without the Klösterlebahn I, we recommend the children's area Day Pass, and for children who want to explore the children's area without their parents, the Point Cards are ideal.
